Note
The Preliminary Examination (PT) consists of one paper carrying 150 marks.
The Preliminary Examination is of Objective Type (having multiple choice questions) and it carries 150 (objective type) questions.
Only PT qualifying candidates are allowed for the Main Exam.
This paper will be of two hours duration.
Marks obtained in PT are just qualifying and hence no role in final selection or ranking.
Written Exam consists of five papers i.e. General Studies Paper I, General Studies Paper II, Option Paper I, Optional Paper II, & Hindi language.
